Moonshots

The Moonshots were formed in September 1999 when vocalist Andy Atkins and guitarist Steve Myers began performing together at private parties and weddings.

With the addition of percussionist Takashi Mizukoshi in 2000, the group began playing at restaurants and live houses in Tokyo.

Today, the group continues to play private events as well as live houses, mixing occasional acoustic duo gigs with shows that feature a full-band lineup.

Combining original material with covers, the Moonshots sound is an eclectic mix of "feel good" rock, blues, folk, country and down-home boogie tunes that reflect the diverse musical backgrounds of the band.
