Second Annual iSHONAN Charity Concert
In 2009, with everyone's kind support, we were able to put on a successful concert and provided books to children orphaned by the tsunami in Indonesia.
This year, the proceeds of the concert will go to Room to Read.

"Room to Read believes that World Change Starts with Educated Children. We envision a world in which all children can pursue a quality education that enables them to reach their full potential and contribute to their community and the world.
"Room to Read seeks to transform the lives of millions of children in developing countries by focusing on literacy and gender equality in education. Working in collaboration with local communities, partner organizations and governments, we develop literacy skills and a habit of reading among primary school children, and support girls to complete secondary school with the relevant life skills to succeed in school and beyond. "

Moonshots
The Moonshots started with Andy Atkins and Steve Myers playing private parties and wedding receptions in Sept. of 1999.
With the addition of percussion, drums and bass they went on to play at live houses like The Crocodile and The Lantern in Shibuya, Salsa Cabana in Yotsuya, and What The Dickens in Ebisu.
They released their first album, Ten Year Testimonial, earlier this year. Moonshots music is best described as FEEL GOOD MUSIC and includes both originals and covers that span the rock, blues, folk, country and roots genres.

Yoko Yoshizawa
Born in Iwate, Ms Yoshizawa went to Venezuela to study Venezuelan Harp in 1977. Her studies took her to Columbia, Brazil, Guyana and Carracas. She started playing professionally in 1999, and she has since played on TV programs both in Venezuela and Japan and even performed for the President of Venezuela. She recently completed a tour of Japan with AHONDA. Their second album, released on September 1st, is entitled "Asi es AHONDA."
Wesley Box Band
The owner of Wesley, a famous bar in Fujisawa named after Wes Montgomery, is also a world-class guitarist. The Wesley Box Band will perform a uniquely Asian flavor of metal jazz.
